We are engaged in offering Sewage Treatment Plant to our clients based across the nation. These Sewage Treatment Plants are designed by our team of experts who uses extended aeration/activated sludge principle of treatment to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
To offer Sewage Treatment Plant, we have selected Activated Sludge Process considering its usefulness to the type of effluent. This is most proven technology and is easy to operate and maintain. Our Sewage Treatment Plants are designed on the basis of extended aeration/activated sludge principle of treatment. Moreover, contact chlorinating is provided to disinfect the treated sewage.
Process of Treatment
Domestic Effluent: Raw sewage from the collection tank (existing) after. Screening, grit removal and oil removal, enters into aeration tank wherein soluble BOD is converted into MLSS with the help of oxygen, provided by diffused aeration. The biomass from aeration tank flows into secondary Clarifier (Lamella Plate Clarifier) wherein the settable solids settle at the bottom of the tank and clear effluent overflow into a gravity sand filter and out for disposal. Sludge from the primary Clarifier is wasted on the sludge drying beds and that from secondary Clarifier is partly recirculated into aeration tank and partly collected in buckets and disposed off.
Diffused Aeration System
The Diffused Aeration system comprises Membranes and PP pipe grid diffuser
This would be installed at the bottom of the Aeration Tank on the header pipe
Air from the blowers at the desired rate and pressure will be diffused through the DAS
The DAS consists of porous membrane of appropriate length made of EPDM
Every diffuser is supported over full length and circumference with 80 mm PP membrane support frame
Each Diffuser is provided with removable end cap to facilitate flushing & cleaning of diffuser when required
The diffuser is fitted to the lateral pipe by PP tee and Spectrum saddle arrangement. The laterals are connected to header pipe
The wetted parts of the systems are made of the non-corrosive material
During shut down condition the membranes will contract and closed hence, prevent choking of the membranes
The diffuser is designed to ensure uniform permeability and to produce a flow of coarse air bubbles approximately 15 mm in diameter
Since the bubbles are of extremely small size the total surface, area that interfaces with the liquid is large. High oxygen transfer efficiency result in low operation cost. The slow upward movement of the fine bubbles keeps the bottom of the tank swept clean of any setting deposits and also provides gentle mixing
The gentle uniform diffusion of air also prevents floc is reduced. This results in increased efficiency of the secondary clarifier
The air piping & air distribution system shall be designed to allow easy regulation flow of air flow to the Aeration Tank
The lateral piping shall be size to allow a normal air flow variation of 0- 100% of design air flow
Balancing valves will be provided for breakage of fine bubble on each air lateral The valves shall be used to distribute air throughout the system and allow throttling for seasonal process variation
Air piping shall be from blowers to header and first section of lateral including the balancing valves will be in metal
The metal lateral piping will be terminated at the water surface and convert to PVC lateral
Piping system shall be designed for diffuser assemblies to be floor mounted
Two rows pf diffusers will supply air by each lateral
